As a passionate Design Lead of 22+ years working, traveling and living in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Germany, Barcelona, Shanghai and Xiamen in China, Kim’s expertise runs deep in providing a global vision and strategic solutions across trend and design in sportswear and fashion apparel. 

Her unique hybrid mix of conceptual design, intuitive-thinking and forecasting expertise blends with a clear understanding of both West and Asian based audiences and has delivered profitable and commercial results for global and local markets. 

Working for leading premium brands as Nike, Adidas and Anta Sports and collaborating with smaller international fashion brands, agencies and manufacturers, Kim has an exceptional understanding of the full scope creation and development process as well as what drives consumer behavioUr and youth culture through innovation and functionality.

Her interest in ensuring transparent practices and championing her  ‘think responsibly attitude’ are fundamental to her overall approach when working with brands, no matter the size of the company.

As an avid lover of exploring culture through travel, photography and music, observing colour and nature’s science, she also dedicates her personal time on the philosophies and practices of yoga, meditation and breath work and became a 200hr certified Hatha yoga teacher in 2017.

Born in The Netherlands and currently based in Hong Kong, she is fluent in English, German and Dutch and has a beginners mind in Spanish and HKS1 Mandarin Chinese.
